****Election Day Drinking Game Etsy Link! ENJOY!****
Well it’s that time. Hopefully everyone voted or is getting ready to cast their vote. I was able to cast my ballot by mail so I’m happy to have that over with. While I’m glad the election season is coming to an end, I am also happy that it gives me an excuse to come up with another drinking game. My neighbors and I will be having an election block party. We will be watching a live stream of the results as they come in.
Hawaii and their four electoral votes don’t make a huge difference. We’re also pretty far behind in time than most of the United States. Hawaii is really just waiting for everyone else to make the decision for us. That being said it does give us a lot more time to play drinking games and pass out in time to be fresh and ready for work the next day.
Map and Predictions
On the slides you’ll find a few different tabs. One will have a map of the country labeled by state. Two tabs can be used for use with the map. The first one will have a list of the states and columns for your prediction. As well as who won the state, and if you were correct. You can decide what to do with the predictions.

Some options include taking a drink for every one prediction that you get wrong. Then handing a drink out for all the predictions that you got correct. You could also play that whoever gets the most correct will get to pass out shots to everyone else. Let your group decide what works best for you! The next tab has the same columns. This is the one to use if you wanted to print it out. These cells are “fill in the blank” style. Print out the pages for you and your friends to enjoy at your own block party!
One More Election Day Drinking Game: Same Same But Different
If trying to guess who will win each state doesn’t sound like fun. If you want another game to play this is another one for you! This one follows a pretty typical drinking game. Anytime you hear any of these phrases, take a drink. I tried to keep the total phrases to a minimum, but I think we’ll hear them a lot. If you want to make things a little easier, you could choose just one phrase and drink every time you hear it.

Bingo Election Day Drinking Game
The very first time I remember playing Bingo during an election was 2008. My friends and I were sitting in my apartment in downtown Portland watching the Presidential Debate between John McCain and Barack Obama. I didn’t necessarily feel the need to be getting drunk during that debate. Oh how the times have changed. If you feel like playing a version of that Bingo game, I’ve also included it in my Etsy bundle. You can also make your own with your own words. I went to this website that generates Bingo cards with the words you want to use.

Election Day Voting Information
If you have any questions about voting, check out this website. Whether you have questions about what ID you’ll need or where to go, don’t let your worries keep you from voting. Every vote counts. It’s like I tell my dad, you can’t complain about the outcome if you haven’t voted!
